All EFSC campuses are open and all classes resumed as scheduled Monday, September 18. Students and instructors should discuss issues related to missed classes, assignments and tests. An email has been sent to students outlining hurricane closure impacts related to Fall Term courses. You can also view that email online.

If your school, day camp or scout group cannot travel to the planetarium, our portable Starlab can travel to you. Starlab is a 15-foot inflatable bubble that turns any gymnasium or multi-purpose room into a temporary planetarium where up to 25 students can view a simulated sky and learn basic astronomy.

Inside, a simple star projector shines hundreds of stars onto the dome surface to recreate a natural night sky. Sky motions (daily progression of the stars, Sun, Moon, and planets), constellation identification, and sky lore are presented in an intimate classroom style setting.
