Lab School Enrollment, Fees & Registration Information
Welcome to the open enrollment process for The Lab School at Eastern Florida State College. Our registration does not close, we accept enrollment in all classes throughout the year. For any questions please call 321-433-7668. Once you have reviewed the information in this section, you will find the link for the online registration form in Step 1 of the accordion below.
Basic Information and Program Costs
The EFSC Lab School programs are enriching for all members of the family. Lab school has several different types of programs: school year programs, workshops, summer camps and special interest programs.
School year programs: Adorable Me, Active Me, Terrific Toddlers and Playful Preschool
School programs are open from August to May and include both daytime and evening classes. Enrollment for 2017-2018 school year is open now. For class descriptions, please see our programs web page.
Additional Classes: Special Topics, Summer Camps, Workshops and On-line Classes
EFSC Lab School Summer Camps begin in June. Registration for camps is now open. There is no registration fee for summer camps: please see our programs web page for camp information and fees. The EFSC Lab School has additional workshops for parents and child education professionals and specially designed non-credit classes. Enrollment is always open until the class is full or unless otherwise specified. For class descriptions please see our programs web page.
The Lab School meeting dates and times are listed on the Locations and Classes web page or call 433-7668 for more details. Lab School’s holiday dates are aligned with the Brevard Public School District (BPS) rather than the college.
Program offerings (classes and locations) are based on registration. Ongoing enrollment after the start of classes is based on vacancies in established classes and continues until the class is full. New classes will be offered when there are enough interested students on the class waiting list to form a new class.
School year class enrollment for 2017-2018 requires completion of the registration form and payment of the enrollment fee. The tuition can be paid per month (starting in August), per semester or for the year. Additional classes, workshops or classes already in progress require completion of the registration form and payment of tuition fees appropriate to the program.

Lab School Registration Steps (Click step for details)
Step 1: Complete the Online Registration Form
A FAMILY IS NOT REGISTERED INTO A CLASS UNTIL BOTH THE REGISTRATION FORM AND THE ENROLLMENT FEE EXPLAINED IN STEP 2 ARE RECEIVED. ENROLLMENT FEES ARE NON-REFUNDABLE.
a. The adults (parents, grandparents, etc.) are the actual college students registering for Lab School for Parent Education. All additional caretakers who will attend either daytime or evening classes (grandparent, babysitter, aunt, au pair, etc.) need to be registered. When filling out the online registration form please provide information for all adults who will be attending classes, including Name, address, birth date, etc.
b. For two-parent families, both adults must register on the registration form. For legally single parents, please check the appropriate box on the form.
Step 2: Pay Program Fees
Traditional Program: Families pay the one-time, non-refundable registration fee of $60. Monthly fee for class is listed below. Please call 321-433-7668 with any questions.
Additional Classes - Summer camps, workshops and on-line classes: The only fees for these classes are explained in the class description area. Please proceed to How to Pay & Complete Lab School Registration Process.

How to Pay & Complete Lab School Registration Process:
A family is officially registered in Lab School when the Lab School Office receives the completed registration form and registration payment. Payment arrangements must be made by calling 321-433-7668. Payment may be made by Discover, Visa, American Express, MasterCard, Debit Card or check via EFT. There is a $2 fee each time a credit card is used. If a check payment is returned there is a $30 returned check fee.
Step 3: Review Payment Policies
Tuition Payment Policy: In compliance with Florida Law, tuition is due prior to the start of classes. Tuition may be paid in full or in monthly installments billed at the beginning of the month. Traditional program students are registering for the semester; although payments are divided into monthly installments, registration is for the semester, not the month paid. Tuition Payment is required prior to attending, for both traditional evening and daytime classes, and for additional classes and workshops.
