Eastern Florida Women's Soccer Program to Hold ID Camp and Combine

March 19, 2014 - Eastern Florida State Women's Soccer program is hosting a Soccer ID Camp & Combine from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. Saturday, April 19 on the Melbourne Campus.

The camp is for ages 16-20. Registration is $65 and includes a T-shirt and evaluation.

The camp will be run by Jeff Carr, Eastern Florida's Associate Vice President for Athletics and women's soccer head coach and Josh Schirmer, women's associate head coach.

Eastern Florida's women's program was the 2012 NJCAA Division I National Championship Runner-Up. Six Eastern Florida players have received All-America status and numerous players have moved on to NCAA Division I, Division II and NAIA programs.

The goal of the unique camp is to provide players with a clear evaluation of their strengths and weaknesses.

Players will be tested in the tactical, technical and physical areas of the game and evaluated in accordance with their peers. The players will also be given insight into what it takes to be a collegiate athlete. The staff of college coaches also will evaluate the players in Speed, Power and Agility tests as well as in Small Sided and 11 vs 11 Match Play.

For more information on the camp contact Carr at 321-433-5600 or email

Campers need to enroll by April 7 to receive a camp T-shirt. Enrollment on the day of the camp will be accepted but a T-shirt is not guaranteed.
