Jeff Carr enters his sixth season as the inaugural head coach of Eastern Florida's
women's soccer program with a 57-12-5 record. Carr, who doubles as EFSC's associate
vice president for athletics, came to the Titans from Trevecca-Nazarene University
in Nashville where he was head men's soccer coach for five seasons.
Associate Head Coach
Josh Schirmer was named associate head coach for women's soccer in February 2014 and
also serves as an assistant coach for men's soccer. A Pensacola, Florida native, he
holds England FA Level 1, USSF C, NSCAA Advanced National and Level 1 Goalkeeper coaching
licenses. He also was 2014 (NSCAA) Junior College South Regional Assistant Coach of
the Year. Schirmer played at NCAA Division II Tusculum College in 2000 and played
at and graduated Magna Cum Laude from NAIA Tennessee Wesleyan College (2001-2004).
He was a three-time Appalachian Athletic Conference Academic Team member (2002-2004)
and a 2003 NAIA Academic All-America. He also played professionally in Hong Kong and
Japan and coached in Japan.
Teresa Brantley Moon
Teresa Brantley Moon begins her second year as an Eastern Florida assistant coach. Brantley Moon played for high school and club state championship teams in Brevard County before becoming a record-setting scorer at Florida Institute of Technology in Melbourne where she was the 2009 Sunshine State Conference Player of the Year. She graduated from FIT in 2010 She holds a USSF National “B” License and serves as head coach of the West Shore Jr./Sr. High School girls soccer team as well as head coach of the Space Coast United U-14 Elite/NPL girls club team.
