BCC Golf Teams Fifth, Sixth After Titan Invitational's First Day

February 4, 2013 - Brevard Community College's Blue and White teams sit fifth and sixth respectively after the first day of the season-opening Titan Winter Invitational golf tournament at Suntree.

Fifteen teams representing 12 colleges split between two- and four-year institutions, played 36 holes over Suntree's Challenge Course. The tournament concludes on Tuesday with 18 holes over the Classic Course beginning at 8 a.m.

The public is welcome to attend.

The University of Tampa sits first thanks to its rounds of 296-285-581. Central Alabama Community College is second at 302-291-593. Florida Tech's A team is third at 298-295-593 and Darton State of Georgia is fourth at 305-290-595.

BCC's White team is fifth at 301-295-596 and BCC's Blue team sixth at 301-297-598

Individually Taylor Noel of Tampa is first at 73-68-141. BCC graduate Kyle Martin of Southeastern University in Lakeland is second at 70-72-142 and BCC graduate Justin Kalanquin of Florida Tech is third at 69-74-143.
