BCC Women Lose to Palm Beach State, 75-49

January 29, 2013 - The Brevard Community College women's basketball team lost its 18th straight game on Tuesday, falling 75-49 at Palm Beach State College in Lake Worth.

BCC fell to 2-21 on the season and 0-8 in the Florida College System Activities Association Southern Conference.

Second-place Palm Beach improved to 14-7 overall and 6-2 in the conference behind St. Petersburg College, which was 7-0 in conference heading into Tuesday's games.

Sophomore co-captain Kasie Berry led BCC with 15 points. Freshman Arquinetta Daly added 13 points and classmate Tomoriya Hamm nine. Hamm had six rebounds and Daly three.

Next up for BCC is a 2 p.m. Saturday game at conference foe Indian River State College in Fort Pierce.

BCC has seven conference games remaining. It concludes the regular season on Feb. 23 at Miami Dade in Kendall.
