BCC Women Visit Palm Beach State on Tuesday

January 28, 2013 - The Brevard Community College women's basketball team gets another shot at ending its 17-game losing streak as it travels to Lake Worth to play conference foe Palm Beach State College at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday.

BCC, which is 2-20 and 0-7 in the Florida College System Activities Association Southern Conference, lost 75-53 to Palm Beach State on Jan. 15 in Melbourne.

Palm Beach State is 13-7 overall and 5-2 in the conference.

Sophomore co-captain Kasie Berry is leading BCC in scoring at 7.9 points per game during the absence of co-captain, classmate and leading scorer Shaneece Stephens who continues to recover from a knee injury.

Berry also is the leading rebounder at 4.6 per game.
