BCC a Host Site for Boys Grade School State Championship Tournament

June 4, 2013 - Brevard Community College's Melbourne Campus gym is one of 17 sites in the county hosting basketball games in the United States Specialty Sports Association (USSSA) Boys Grade School State Championships hosted by Space Coast Sports and the Brevard Bulls.

The event runs from Friday through Sunday with approximately 150 teams from grades three through eight participating.

Daily admission to the games is $10 for an adult wristband for ages 18 and over. Weekend adult wrist bands are $20. Each team is guaranteed three games.

In addition to BCC, which will host a total of 26 games beginning at 3 p.m. Friday and 8 a.m. Saturday and Sunday, the game sites are: Bayside High School, Palm Bay; Brevard Christian Academy, West Melbourne; Central Middle School, West Melbourne; Eau Gallie High School, Melbourne; Florida Air Academy, Melbourne; Grant Street Community Center, Melbourne; Heritage High School, Palm Bay; Holy Name of Jesus Church, Indialantic.

Also, Holy Trinity Episcopal School, Melbourne; Melbourne Central Catholic School, Melbourne; Palm Bay High School, Melbourne; Viera High School, Viera; West Shore Junior/Senior High School, Melbourne; Cocoa Beach High School, Cocoa Beach; Cocoa Beach Rec Center; Cocoa High School, Cocoa; Merritt Island High School.
