Scott is a 6-foot, 2-inch shooting guard from Word of God Christian Academy who as a senior averaged 15 points per game and four three-pointers per game.

Scott also set a North Carolina state playoff record with nine three-pointers in a game and a state championship game record with eight three-pointers. Word of God Christian won the 2012-2013 North Carolina Class 1A state championship.

"We are thrilled to sign Camden Scott, and welcome him to the Brevard family," Shulman said. "Cam is a Ray Allen-type shooter, one of the best in the nation, and will fit in perfectly in our system.

"He played for an outstanding high school coach in Quinton Jackson and a big time program at Word of God. Cam will have an outstanding career here at Brevard."

Scott joins previous signees Jermohn Queen of Stuart Martin County (FL) High and Landus Anderson of Florida High in Tallahassee.
