Queen also was selected as the Scripps Treasure Coast Newspapers All-Area Boys Basketball Player of the Year.

"I am very excited about the signing of Jermohn Queen," Shulman said. "Jermohn is a tough, quick point guard who comes from an outstanding and well-coached high school program led by Coach John Leon.

"Jermohn is a great kid off the floor, and a true winner on it. Jermohn is going to have an outstanding career here, and I can't wait to get him started in the summer."

BCC finished the 2012-2013 season at 26-7, its best record since the 2000-2001 season.

The Titans were the Florida College System Activities Association Southern Conference champion and FCSAA/NJCAA Division I Region 8 tournament runner-up to eventual national champion College of Central Florida.
