Titans Men’s Basketball Downs FSC-Jax

November 14, 2012, Melbourne, FL - The Brevard Community College Titans remained undefeated at home Wednesday night at Titan Coliseum on the BCC Melbourne Campus with an emphatic 78-68 victory over a talented Florida State College-Jacksonville squad.

The Titans led 34-26 at intermission before busting the game wide open in the second half.

BCC rode some hot second half shooting to a commanding 63-39 lead with nine minutes to go, before cruising down the stretch for a 78-68 win.

Sophomore Addison Spruill stayed hot with 24 points, 6 rebounds, and 5 assists to lead the Titans. Soph combo guard Nyles Evans also had a great game with 17 points, 6 assists, 6 boards and 4 steals. Oklahoma State-signee Gary Gaskins had a double-double with 12 points and 10 boards, along with three blocked shots.

Brevard returns to action Mon., Nov. 19 for a rematch with Daytona State College, with a 7 p.m. tip in Daytona Beach before the Thanksgiving Break.

After the break, BCC returns home for games Tue., Nov. 27 and Wed., Nov. 28 against Southwest Academy and Polk State College, respectively.
