Non-Conference Games Against LeFleche Loom for EFSC Baseball

March 17, 2014 - Eastern Florida's baseball team steps out of Florida College System Activities Association Southern Conference play to host Canadian visitors College LeFleche.

Games against the Quebec school are scheduled for 6 p.m. Tuesday and 6 p.m. Wednesday at Bruce Bochy Field on the Melbourne Campus. Admission is free.

Eastern Florida is 15-8 overall and in first place in the Southern Conference at 5-3. The Titans have won five of their last eight games.

LeFleche, in the middle of its annual United States trip, lost 21-3 to Southern Conference member Broward College on Sunday, and was scheduled to play the Seahawks again on Monday.

LeFleche is 6-10 overall.

The Titans beat LeFleche twice last season, 6-2 and 5-4.

Eastern Florida resumes conference play by visiting Indian River State College (11-13, 2-4) in Fort Pierce at 3 p.m. Friday and then hosting the Pioneers at 1 p.m. Saturday.

The Titans will play four games over Spring Break, hosting Morton College of Cicero, IL at 6 p.m. Monday, March 24; visiting Webber International's junior varsity at 5 p.m. Tuesday, March 25 in Babson Park; and visiting Broward for conference games at 6 p.m. Friday, March 28 and 1 p.m. Saturday, March 29.
