Eastern Florida improved to 7-4 in the conference and 21-9 overall. Broward fell to 3-7 and 15-16.

Chayce Hubbard pitched the ninth, striking out the side.
Broward committed three errors.
"Borjas was on tonight," said Eastern Florida head coach Jeff Tam. "He dominated hitters with a fastball and slider and mixed pitches well.
"Hitters were seeing the ball well and put together great at bats. We need the same tomorrow."
The teams meet again at 1 p.m. Saturday at Davie.
