As part of EFSC's commitment to provide a safe and positive college experience for every student, EFSC now requires all currently enrolled students to participate in an important online training program called "Think About It." Facilities Planning is responsible for developing and implementing the long-range College facilities plan, including property acquisitions, new construction and major renovations.

In addition to project oversight, the office maintains the College's space database, which is required for reporting to the Florida Department of Education. This data is used to analyze space utilization to ensure maximum usage of campus space.

Responsibilities also include project document management, annual Capital Improvement Program reports and the completion and updating of a comprehensive five-year Educational Plant Survey.
