How to Apply for Facial Specialty Program
Applicants for the 12-week Facial Specialty program are evaluated for admission based upon the Admission Criteria and Point System explained on these pages. For selection you must satisfy program entrance requirements. The annual application deadlines are January 10 for a February start date and August 10 for a September start date. Apply for General Admission to EFSC
Complete the application for admission to Eastern Florida State College prior to program application deadline. There is a $30 non-refundable application fee for admission that must be submitted at the time of application to the college. This application is available on any of the campuses or it's easiest to apply online.
NOTE: You must only apply to EFSC for general admission if you are not currently enrolled with the College. If you’re a returning/readmit student who applied to EFSC one or more years ago and have not completed a course in the past year, you must re-apply and can do so online and will not be charged the general EFSC application fee.
Transcripts: ALL OFFICIAL college and/or high school transcripts or GED scores must

a. Transfer students: Request all previous schools to send an official copy of all transcripts to the EFSC Admission's Office.
b. International students: If you attended high school and/or college in a country other than the United States, when you submit your transcripts you must speak to the International Student Service Advisor to determine any further steps that must be taken to determine your grade point average and transfer credits.
Complete Application for Cosmetology/Facial Program
Submit an application for the Facial Program, which is available online, before the appropriate application deadline. If you need assistance with this application or cannot apply online, contact the program specialist.
This application must be properly submitted by application deadline, after you have become an EFSC student. Application must specify which program the student is interested in applying for. If multiple programs within Cosmetology are desired, the student is required to submit a separate application packet for each desired program.
An UNOFFICIAL copy of each and every college transcript is required with the program application. Unofficial EFSC transcripts can be accessed at www.floridashines.org.
Take the TABE Test
This exam is for program admission points rather than for remediation purposes.
TABE must have been taken within the last TWO  years.
