Digital Media combines elements of art, photography, video, sound and computer graphics with new technology. This hands-on, skills-based program enables students to develop competencies in fields where television, sound recording, computers and the internet converge. Students produce broadcast quality television programs in the studios of WEFS-TV (Cocoa, Florida) and on location, using professional digital cameras and editing facilities. The 2015-2016 course requirements for the A.S. degree have changed. Only 60 credits are now required. The Portraiture and Photojournalism interest areas are no longer part of this degree. Course numbers have also been updated.

Internship Course Information

The Internship course, RTV 2941 is an elective credit option for the A.S. degree in Drafting & Design Technology.

Be prepared! Completion of intermediate and several advanced level Digital Media/Digital TV Production courses are required.
