Eastern Florida State College's Computer Information Technology program prepares students for careers in the business applications of computers. Students choose one of three options: Help Desk, Management Information Systems (MIS) or Database Administrator.

The Common Core for Computer Technology Programs

The Computer Information Technology A.S., Computer Programming & Analysis A.S. and Network Systems Technology A.S. degrees share the same seven common core computer courses. These courses provide training in the basic concepts that underlie computing technology, computer programming, database techniques, analysis and design and common user applications.

Not all Computer Information Technology courses are offered every semester. Students are encouraged to register for engineering courses when offered.

Internship Course Information

The Internship course, CGS 2941 is an elective credit option for the A.S. degree in Information Technology.

Be prepared! Completion of intermediate and several advanced level courses is required.
