If you dream about being your own boss, start the journey to business ownership with Eastern Florida State College's Business Entrepreneurship program. We believe that blending classroom lessons with practical experience is the ideal preparation for creating, launching and operating a small business.
Since our students are as unique as their business ideas, we've tailored four program options to best meet your needs.
Our Business Entrepreneurship options include: two certificate programs based on expertise level, an Associate's Degree that can transfer to a Bachelor's level advanced entrepreneurship program, or you can choose to target specific skills to develop your career.

Business Development & Entrepreneurship Certificate (BECC)
The BECC certificate program is designed to prepare students for the challenging aspects of Business Development and Entrepreneurship. This 25-credit-hour sequence of courses will provide particular emphasis on business development, computer applications, finance, organizational skills, international business, marketing strategy, selling, and small business management functions.
Entrepreneurship Certificate (ENCC)
This ENCC certificate is ideal for students who are interested in learning the basics about entrepreneurship. You have the option of pursuing an Associate of Arts (A.A) or Associate in Science (A.S.) Degree with a Business Entrepreneurship concentration. This one semester program is 12 credit hours.
Entrepreneurship Operations Certificate (EOCC)
The Operations Certificate (EOCC) is geared towards students who want to learn operational skills with the goal of owning, operating or managing a business. Students may choose to pursue an Associate of Arts (A.A) or Associate in Science (A.S.) Degree with a Business Entrepreneurship concentration. This two semester program is 25 credit hours.
Business Administration Degree with Entrepreneurship Specialization
This pathway is for students who would like to earn either their Associate in Arts (A.A) or Associate in Science Business Administration (A.S.) Degree. You can select either of the certificate programs above as part of your Business Entrepreneurship concentration. There is a course sequence and a Capstone Course for this option. This option can prepare students for the workforce or to move on to pursue a Bachelor's Degree, including the Organizational Management BAS at EFSC.
Entrepreneurship Fast Track
If there are particular skills you'd like to improve upon, but do not wish to pursue a certificate or degree, then this option is for you. This is best suited for students who have substantial experience in the work force. Through selective entrepreneurship course choices, we can help you develop specific areas so you can achieve your entrepreneurial goals.
