HVAC Program Application Process
The Air Conditioning, Refrigeration and Heating Technology program requires a special application. The program is also known as Heating, Ventilation and Air Conditioning or HVAC. Applicants are evaluated for admission based upon an admission criteria point system. Applicants must satisfy the program entrance requirements and those with the highest total number of points will be considered for the program. Students not selected, but who still desire to attend, must re-apply during the next academic year. HVAC students from other community colleges or vocational-technical centers who wish to transfer to EFSC will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis.

Step 1: Check Deadlines, Request & Review Info Packet & Work with Advisor
- June 10: Fall Term (August start date) - Full-time Day Class
- December 10: Spring Term (January start date)- Full-time Day Class
Request the Air Conditioning/HVAC Information Packet: This will open an email to the program advisor. Please include your name, phone number and email in the note you send, along with any initial questions.
Because this is a limited access program with many variables and a special application
requirement, it's important for prospective students to receive advising from the
program advisor, Donna Tice. You can request an appointment in the same email request
for the Information Packet or call or email to set up an appointment.
