As part of EFSC's commitment to provide a safe and positive college experience for every student, EFSC now requires all currently enrolled students to participate in an important online training program called "Think About It." Visit the course information page to learn more about its content and login to the myEFSC Portal before the December 1 deadline to begin the course.

Vocational and Career Education Academic Support

Students who enroll in a program offered for career credit of 450 hours or more must complete an entry-level examination within the first six weeks after admission into the program. The examination is designed to assess student mastery of basic skills. Assessment instrument used by EFSC is Test of Adult Basic Education (TABE) 9 & 10, Complete Battery (TABE).

The college has resources to help students prepare for these tests and/or to obtain remediation to achieve the basic skills necessary to be successful in the chosen career program.

Academic support and tutors are located in the Learning Labs on all four campuses.
